Course Description

A manicure is a cosmetic treatment of the hands involving cutting, shaping, and often painting of the nails, cuticle maintenance, and softening of the skin. Additional services such as hand and arm massage are included. Help make informed decisions regarding contraindications and which services can and cannot be performed on clients. In this course you will learn: - Tools and equipment - Nail growth; Hand and foot disorders and diseases - Hands on practical manicure procedures - Proper nail cutting, filing, buffing - Hand and arm massage techniques - Precise polish application All course manuals include Sanitation, Disinfection, and Sterilization. Theory, proper tool use, methods and contraindications specific to the classes of your choosing is also included. All courses include manuals and kits, unless otherwise specified.
